The new service center will maintain and upgrade critical rotating equipment such as pumps and turbomachinery.
The facility is strategically positioned to provide rapid, efficient maintenance and upgrade services to the region’s growing refining, petrochemical and power generation sectors.
The Rayong Service Center will increase Sulzer’s repair capacity in the area by 80%. It provides customers with access to advanced engineering and maintenance capabilities, allowing it to deliver retrofit, reverse engineering, and service projects for rotating equipment including industrial steam turbine units up to 10MW.

By establishing operations close to our customers, we will ensure that we boost the speed of delivery for tailored solutions that address the unique needs and challenges of our local customers, enhancing the reliability and performance of their operations.”
As part of Sulzer’s plan to meet the needs of local industry, the service center offers streamlined retrofitting capabilities. This allows it to cut typical lead times for critical pump models used in oil and gas production and power generation by 50%.
The Rayong facility will also act as a hub for technology and knowledge transfer from Sulzer’s turbomachinery service point in Indonesia.
