1. Volvo-developed powertrain

The entire powertrain is developed and built by Volvo, ensuring all systems are optimised to work perfectly together.

2. Comfortable operator environment

By creating the industry’s most comfortable cabs and user-friendly machines, Volvo supports operators to achieve their best work.

3. High torque at low engine RPM

Volvo engines’ unique ability to deliver high torque at low RPM ensures superior controllability and fuel efficiency in short cycle truck loading operations.

4. Eco-pedal

The gentle push-back under the gas pedal reminds operators to stay within the engine’s economic operating range for lower fuel consumption.

5. Lock-up torque converter

Part of the Optishift automatic power transmission, the torque converter locking function eliminates internal losses by up to 15% in typical load and carry applications.

6. Reverse by Braking

This Volvo-patented feature slows the machine when changing direction by applying the service brakes automatically, increasing efficiency and reducing component wear.

7. Rim pull control system

The operator can set the maximum rim pull of the machine from 60-90%, improving operability and extending tire life.

8. Automatic boom kick out

Instead of pushing the lever all the way until the bucket goes up or down, the operator simply taps the lever for the same effect, alleviating the tiring effect of repetitive tasks.

9. Load Assist Operator Coaching app (in selected markets)

On the 10” Volvo Co-Pilot screen, operators receive real-time guidance to instantly improve their technique.

10. Perfectly matched attachments

The wide range of specialty and general purpose Volvo attachments are designed as an integral part of the machine for high quality and efficiency.
